Aircraft Maintenance ENGINEER / MECHANIC required
We have a vacancy for an engineer / mechanic licenced in the categories A & C (Airframe and Engine). Cat. X is an additional advantage. Together with our team the successful applicant will look after our fleet of Piper PA28-235, PA31-350, PA32-300, PA34-200T and Airvan GA8. Our operational base is Lilongwe, but occasionally some travel is involved for outside work. We are looking for a young ambitious person who is prepared to go the extra mile.

Nyassa Air Taxi is a charter and fly-in safari company based in Blantyre and Lilongwe in Malawi. The company has been involved in aviation since 1992 and has been offering personalised fly-in safaris and charter services since 2005. As the demand for charter services increased, Nyassa Air Taxi was born and is growing steadily. Our family-run company provides professional charter services in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Our highly trained pilots and six fully equipped, meticulously maintained aircraft team up to bring you to where you want to go safely and efficiently.
All flights are conducted within the ambit of a duly registered, licensed and insured (USD 5 Mio) charter company.

The Owners
Nyassa Air Taxi is owned by two Europeans, who moved to Africa over 30 years ago. First working in the South Luangwa Valley for 5 years, they then moved to Malawi and started up their own company, providing solar lighting and water pumps to hospitals around Malawi and Zambia. In 1992, Bruno fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a pilot, and has been flying ever since.
